Who's Hip-Hop

Updated: Feb 13, 2022

01/07/2022 Click here for Spotify or Apple Music. This is my sixth official release and goes hard. This song is told as a response to rappers dying from drugs. It delivers a message to not pop pills. It’s a hardcore, exciting, and angry mood. This is more of a commentary about the state of hip-hop.

The beat is from Tantubeats.com. The track was professionally produced, tracked, mixed, and mastered by David James of Forest Hills Audio. You can stream or download the track wherever music is sold. Be sure to follow because new music is released the first Friday of every month.

Lyrics:

Don’t you mistake my kindness for weakness

When I get it pop’n it’s a topic of a thesis

I write nonfiction unlike depicting Jesus

- I could give a fuck, like the subject of a Grievance

come from a small mid-town in Michigan

I don’t really care if I ever get um listen’n

I do this for the love and say my peace

-If you dare clap back I might make you grieve

Please don’t come at me with your fake ass delivery

Please don’t come at me like we in the same league

Please don’t get it twisted when I ain’t into leaning

Please don’t take me with you all about your inner feeling

Look I said please I’m nice with mine

-While the rest of hip-hop is consumed with vice

into the thrill of pills and abusing women

,But, that’s when real men refuse to listen

You see’n how i I rap this, tell me, Who’s hip-hop

You see’n how they grasp it, tell me, who’s hip-hop

You feel me on delivery, tell me, who’s hip-hop

You feel me like a real g, tell me, who’s hip-hop x2

Imagine for a minute, people listen and they get it

That their favorite rapper a detractor and factored as a gimmick

-The culture got a sickness, still negative with disses

No zeal with appeal and feel just to Fix it-

future over here with percesets and his mask off

Next thing you know we’ll popularize smoking bath salts.

Tell me who responsible if hip-hop isnt’ at fault

It’s a lifestyle, wait and watch the Stats fall

Another rapper dead from the GUNS and the pills. are you

not entertained, is my aim too real

Grow’n men teach’n vice the sub culture thrills

- fuck hip-hop cuz the culture kills

You see’n how i I rap this, tell me, Who’s hip-hop

You see’n how they grasp it, tell me, who’s hip-hop

You feel me on delivery, tell me, who’s hip-hop

You feel me like a real g, tell me, who’s hip-hop x2

Tell me who the gimmick, who ill, and who the lyricist

Call me public enemy with a tendency to kill this shit

Diligent, and exorbitantly fly

Power to people and let the corporation die

America the oligarchy

Where it’s just a nonstop party

When I get on top and charting

I’mma show how art is harming

That this life is more than the money

Find what right, and Fight for something

rather die a lion than live with the sheep

You don’t wanna problem, Just let me be

Got sober irreverent, cold flow intelligence.

knowledge on the severance til it become’n prevalent

Now what the fuck did I just say

Let me re-verbalize the words of mine and put it this way

For aspiring rappers, don’t be a Statistic

Don’t pop pills, stay real, and kill it

You see’n how I rap this, tell me, Who’s hip-hop

You see’n how they grasp it, tell me, who’s hip-hop

You feel me on delivery, tell me, who’s hip-hop

You feel me like a real g, tell me, who’s hip-hop x3
